We already knew that dress codes can be straight up insane. We get it. Schools don’t want there to be any sort of curvy “distractions” to the boys innocently trying to learn geometry. The obvious answer is to make every female cover herself up from ankles to neck so boys resist the urge to take their pants off. It makes sense because yoga pants and spaghetti straps pose serious threats, right? Right.Today, RunwayRiot discovered these noble women on Twitter who are recalling their schools’ dress codes and the times they felt discriminated against for being black women with curves just trying to get through a day of learning. Their stories are downright cringeworthy, and we thought the issue was one worthy of your attention.Check out what they’re saying below and prepare to resist the urge to light somebody’s house on fire.
