Of all of the objects Kanye West has compared himself to, one of the most entertaining was when he told the New York Times that his ego was a marble table. He ruminated that it would take a crane to lift the weight of it, which makes perfect sense.

So it’s only logical that he will bring his joie de vivre to the furniture biz. The Swedish media outlet Aftonbladet has reported that Kaneye was at IKEA in Älmhult, “to explore the design,” as IKEA press officer Jakob Holmström confirmed. But they speculate that’s that there’s a design collabo on the horizon. If this is a go, then it’s excellent news. The world of broke 20-somethings needs affordable side tables, space-saving accent pieces, Kanye martyring himself on a crucifix-themed wall decor.
