Today, Refinery29 and Lane Bryant CMO Brian Beitler had a friendly little live Twitter chat where they asked tweeters to send in their questions using the hashtag #AskLaneBryant. Lots of your burning questions were sent off, and, as could be assumed, a lot of people have beef with the “body positive” mega retailer not necessarily known for representing all women in their advertising campaigns for their occasionally fashionable clothes. Alyssa fired back, “so are we gonna see some size 22+ models in the future or nah?” She’s gotten no response (yet), but a retweet from babe Tess Holliday, so something tells us Lane Bryant might change their tune soon. As we all know, the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem. So congrats, LB.
