So you want to be a fashion vlogger or beauty blogger for that matter? You keep seeing all your favorite girls on YouTube and think – I can do that! I want to vlog. You can virtually start with your iPhone or Samsung camera, it will work just fine. If you want to take it super seriously, it is time to take it up a notch. A vlogging camera is essential for incredible video.
One of my favorites to follow for all things tech, cinematography and vlogging is Casey Neistat. I found him one day when his video popped up in the recommended part of my YouTube. I instantly got addicted to his vlogs for the style and keeping my interest. He does absolutely nothing related to fashion but for some reason, I was hooked. The reason being he knows how to tell a story. Anyway, I digress back to the camera.
Since he will blow you away with his camera and editing skills, he seems like the guy to go to for a vlogging camera recommendation. Lucky for us he did a whole video just the other day on it.
Besides giving an in-depth, thorough review of vlogging cameras Sony and Canon, he also talks about the needs of vloggers. He points out how important some of the camera features are like a touch screen, flip-out view, and the hardware. He explains what vlogging really is – in a nutshell, “first person film making.”
I started vlogging/YouTubing a few years ago. Although I don’t do it daily I did invest in a Canon T3i camera, which was the best thing I ever did. So if you are ready to start vlogging his videos can certainly help.
Hope this article was helpful in showing you how to become a fashion vlogger. What did you think of Casey Neistat’s vlogging camera suggestions?
