100 Women are showing off their bodies in Amy D. Herrmann‘s “Underneath, We Are Women” project.
The Australian photographer’s goal is to create a a photo book to show diversity through these 100 different women, and share their stories.
Women of all colors, shapes, sizes and ages get to show off their bodies and what makes them special. Not only is it an eye-opener to see diverse women look so confident, I’m sure it was special to these women who decided to model.
There’s something scary about posing in your bra and panties, but there’s something empowering about it, too.
We often see similar body shapes in the media, but this photo book really shows what women look like, and that not all women look the same, but all women are beautiful.
We can all relate to the women in this photo book, unlike many of our experiences with glossy magazines.
It’s about time more people realize that there’s such a thing as body diversity and that it’s a beautiful thing that should be shared.
