Stop telling people what they can or can’t wear based on their bodies. I know I’m short. I know I’m chubby. I know I’m pale. Don’t you think I know all of these facts? They’re in plain sight. But you know what? I don’t really care. I am me and I will wear what I want.
If I want to wear a crop top even though my not-so-flat stomach will show, I will.
If you don’t think I should wear shoulder pads because my shoulders are already big, please stop talking.
If I choose to wear rounded-toe shoes because I like them even though you think they make my feet look gigantic, I don’t care.
Listen, I appreciate all your suggestions. I know you may just want me to look good. But here’s the thing: If I think I look good, then that’s all that matters. If I’m confident in what I’m wearing, that’s all I care about.
