Speechless! Kimberly Martines charged with killing her 17-month-old baby by feeding her salt https://t.co/ZYHAaFIBQU

I’m sorry, I’ve heard of “A Spoonful of Sugar” from Mary Poppins, but that’s a song. You gave your child a spoonful of salt? I don’t understand.
Is there ever a time where it’s OK to feed your child a teaspoon full of salt? That poor baby! I wouldn’t even want to eat a pinch of salt, let alone a teaspoon of it.
Kimberly Martines, the mom, was apparently trying to win her husband (the baby’s father) back. What exactly was her plan? Was she trying to get her daughter sick so that her husband would pay more attention to them? Harming your child is not the way to get attention from anyone. You should never harm your child, period!
If you want attention from your lover, I get it. But this was not the right way to go about getting his love and affection again.
Instead, if you want to win your lover over, try just inviting him over to chat with you and to play with his daughter.
You could go on a family outing to the park or the beach. You could all have a chill day indoors and watch your child’s favorite TV program or movie.
You could play silly games, shop for things for your daughter, anything really.
Or you could just get a babysitter and ask him to go out with you so you could chat.
There are so many ways to try to win someone over, but using your daughter, or anyone else, to get attention from someone isn’t okay. Ever.
