What do you get when you combine a host of beautiful and diverse curve models, and throw in stars like Orange is the New Black’s Adrienne C. Moore, Philomela Kwao, and Georgina Burke? A really bomb Torrid denim ad. Eleven women in total, all show off new styles available at Torrid, and basically killing the game while doing so.
Torrid’s new denim line ranges from a size 10-30, aiming to create high-end denim trends in an affordable price range for curvy women nationwide. In a short interview with Huffington Post, Adrienne C. Moore said, “Meeting all these ladies following their dreams and passions, it was really empowering to hear all their different stories. From a fashion standpoint, it looked amazing. It was so interesting to see the array of denim and styles accentuating everyone’s beautiful curves. We had a blast.
In particular, Philomena’s sentiments on the Torrid ad made me jealous that I had not been casted, but also just ecstatic that opportunities like this continue to create an opportunity for women to build relationships with each other. Philomena noted her favorite thing about the Torrid ad was that, “It is an incredible thing to be a part of an inspiring group of women, all of us different sizes, ages and races come together. We all looked amazing, it was like we were all old friends, united in the belief that every woman, regardless of size, age, race or sexuality should have access to affordable clothing that makes them feel beautiful and allows them to express themselves.” Amen to that!
