There are some people that you can follow their style over a span of time, and only gain more and more respect for their love of fashion and their sense of style. Alexa Chung is one of those people. She always is willing to take a risk, manages to excel at looking polished but not too overdone, and doesn’t take herself or her style too seriously. She is basically the sartorial definition of effortlessly chic in my book and many of her followers feel the same way.

And today, she announced her new line, ALEXACHUNG, that will debut in May 2017. She has appointed Edwin Bodson as Managing Director, who was previously Head of Atelier at Haider Ackermann and apparently has a design team fully-staffed already.

All of this brings to me to the big question: now that she has her own line will she include curvy women in her collection? Her most recent fashion venture, a collaboration with AG Jeans only went up to a size 31 in jeans, and there was hardly any extended sizing in tops and dresses either. And while I adore influencers like Chung, it’s hard to keep the love going if she continues to be exclusive to women who aren’t wearing sample sizes.
