We all know the struggle too well. A cute trend comes out, and celebrities and bloggers are wearing it, and because it’s actually cool and something that you would want to wear you go shopping and try to find it in your size, only to find dusty and matronly clothes in the curve section of the department store.
In the past year, capsule collections for major brands like Ashley Graham x Swimsuits for All, Rebel Wilson’s collection with Torrid and more have allowed curvy women to miraculously access the same trends as every other women and it’s been a lifesaver. Though it isn’t a cure-all, and inclusion shouldn’t have be to be a periodical thing that brands add to satisfy customers, it is especially clutch when it comes to summer clothing since brands seem to think that curvy women want to shy away from tight clothing, crop tops and swimwear.
We previously covered Evans UK campaign #IamMe and the positive light it shines on the fashion industry. And now we’re happy to see that the UK retailer is still moving forward in the right direction, working with Nottingham Trent University, and finding students to create fashionable and accessible clothing for curvy women. This year’s winner is Gabriella Seal, and we can’t get enough of its 90s vintage and bohemian vibe. It’s elevated festival wear, and summer pieces that you’ll love to wear out with friends or on date night. Scroll down to shop our favorites before they sell out.
All you need with this is a cute choker and platform heels and you’ll be the flyest one in the room.
