Blogger and owner of a curve clothing store in Thailand, Framsook Lek Lek has a great sense of style and humor that we can all appreciate. Her inventive, low-budget recreations of celebrity outfits prove that fashion doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg and that women of all sizes can pull of these so called ‘red carpet’ trends.
Framsook told Rocket News that she first started cosplaying to promote her shop, and never expected the level of attention her photos have garnered across the globe. The most famous and quite hilarious one, is a recreation of Chompoo Ararya’s Ralph and Russo gown at Cannes, which Framsook recreated with giant prawn cracker bags that her mom makes.
A couple of our other favorites are her version of Katy Perry’s video ‘Roar’ complete with a grass skirt, and looks of Claire Danes, Chloe Moretz and Poy Treechada. It’s inspiring to see curvy women transform fashion into their own version of feminism, even when it’s something that isn’t often given mainstream attention. And you’ve got to give it to her—girl is creative, and has good taste in snacks and clothes even on a budget.
