Unless it’s an obligatory feminist statement we rarely see body hair on models on an e-commerce site.

But it’s a thing that tends to exist naturally when women neglect to wax their entire bodies every four minutes or if they decide JUST TO NOT and stick it to sexist body hair expectations.

Anyway, that’s why it’s particularly pleasing to see this model all on Asos Curve with a few hairs on her arm if you look closely. Because so often, body hair is approached with the intensity of a search and destroy mission. How do we get rid of any hairs that might lead people to believe she’s human? is a thing fashion magazines ask, probably.

Look at that, a woman with visible arm hairs modeling. Love this. Here’s an American Apparel ad (old youth porn regime firmly in place,) and Lola Kirke with her pit her unretouched in Vanity Fair.

We’ve reached out to ASOS Curve for more on this beauty and their decision to do this. Good looks.

More e-commerce sites should do this.
