Amy Schumer, Bridget Everett beach bud, and pretend trainwreck but IRL hot blonde is chillaxing with a drink in another important fashion spread.
It’s the Hollywood Reporter stylist issue, and her interview about why she wants a burial plot with her stylist Leesa Evans is bringing more cheer to the picture than a free “Larry and David” gift basket of goodies. Some of Amy’s red carpet looks have been bang on. Love the side boob, love the slip dress, and love the midnight blue floor sweeping frock she wore to disrupt Kimye at the Time 100 party.
It’s all from stylist Leesa Evans who stars in the cover and spread with Amy, and Amy officially has a death grip on her. Why? Simply because Leesa gets it, and it turns out that other costume designers in the past did not. As Amy put it, fittings were, “kind of traumatic,” because of her size.
As Amy explains,
I’ve had fittings for the last ten years, and they’ve always been kind of traumatic. You know I weigh a hundred and nine million pounds, but no, someone who fluctuates between like a 6 and like a 12. Usually, when people feel insecure, they make it seem like it’s your fault. So if the costume designer wasn’t sure about their choices, I think a lot of them shame you about your body and Leesa, when I walked in and the clothes she had, and how she was ready to work and [like] “that’s great or we can do better, it just completely changed how I felt about clothes and everything and now we’re going to be together for life. I’d like to be buried with her.
