We are so glad to live in a world where women don’t feel the pressures of society. And according to Wed Me Good, Indian women have it especially good since they are only asked be highly-educated, cook, be from a certain par of society and most important of all not be curvy in any way shape or form.

The marriage portal Wed Me Good interviewed several women who were on their way down the aisle, and asked them to share their concerns about marriage and becoming a wife. And of course, their worst fears weren’t about finding a good partner, or thoughts about their future family—their concerns were about looking flawless and being as slim as a Barbie.

One of the participants said, “An average Indian girl is not a skinny girl. And when you go to designers, the outfits are just for skinny girls” noting that even in their culture, the clothing available doesn’t reflect women’s sizes in reality. Kudos to the women in this video that realized the double standard that a man can be any size, any complexion and have any occupation, but the girl has to be perfect in every way. Our favorite quote from the video, “Go have a whole pizza before your wedding and don’t worry about it.”

Always a good time for pizza.
