The “expert” is back and ready to defend her thorough knowledge. After a a lot of understandable criticism, Ashy Bines took to Facebook to address her critics and defend her now infamous Instagram post.
Bines begins the 30-minute rant by explaining that she is “just here to help people that want her help.” Then she continues to critique Tess Holliday’s body and even mentions the health of Holliday’s pregnancy and unborn child.
Pretty much, Bines just wants everyone to stop getting so offended so easily. She explains in her Facebook video, “I honestly think I could post a photo of an apple and someone would have something negative to say about it.”
Not so surprisingly, Bines has a couple of supporters who agree with what she is saying. One supporter even went as far as to say that she thought it was rude that Bines commented on the health of someone she doesn’t know, but that it should be totally fine to call people fat.
Because it’s really necessary to use the word “fat” to describe someone, when there are tons of other words that can be used to talk about someone’s appearance? God forbid people actually comment on traits that actually matter, like character. Yes, “fat” is just a word however historically and socially it’s just not a nice one. It is possible to have an opinion, even an unpopular one, but let’s utilize the other 1,025,108 words in the English language.
