We’ve been pretty loud about wanting to see more body diversity in glossy high fashun spreads in VogueElle, or any other popular magazine willing to throw us a bone. A Maxim spread, while not a publication we skim through at night while soaking in lavender salts, would be pretty cool, too, we guess.

Yesterday, curvy model and television personality Ashley Alexiss made a Twitter shoutout to the magazine asking for more curves. After previous editor-in-chief Kate Lanphear stepped down following a failed attempt to make Maxim a bit more..uh.. quality reading for folks back in the fall, maybe body diversity is a solid new direction to go in.

To remind the folks at Maxim that curves are fire in sheer, lace things, too, Alexiss even included some photographic evidence of herself in sexytime things in her tweet.

Apparently this was a message a lot of people could get on board with, and her tweet was like a shot of Fireball to some people. Here’s what they said:

Time to give the people what they want, Maxim.
