Last night at the Stella McCartney pre-fall party, Kate Upton wore a black suit embroidered with flowers. Was it a blazer? Was it a kimono? It was just a suit with flowers on it, but so much to discuss. TO THE PANTS!

Certain photos of this look sublime from the waist up, but unfortunately the pants look bunchy in the crotch. That would be the fault of the designer for not providing pants for Upton’s rockin’ bod. Nearly everything Stella McCartney touches is appealing to me, but the top of these tuxedo pants is just so ill-fitting.

Elsewhere, props for this bun that isn’t too perfect. The arts and craftsy aspect of this is actually a refreshing change for her, and the tucked in shirt is marvelous. The pants though. We applaud any time the desirable Kate Upton appears. The woman was born to wear cardigans just like Marilyn Monroe and drink a sparkly punch, and she needs designers to supply pants that fit her everywhere.

At least, thanks to this look, we are reminded that jackets over your shoulder look cool.

Give this woman the right pants.
