SmartGlamour has wisely launched a swanky new body diverse campaign featuring nine women called #I’mFlattered.
Just like H&M, and others before them, they are highlighting trailblazers who break the “fashion rules” no one gives a fraction of a hoot about. This new campaign features different kinds of body types in stuff people strongly advise the curvier ladies among us not to wear. (We heard somewhere horizontal stripes make you burst into flames unless you have an innie belly button, but we’re too scared to try it, so we couldn’t tell you if it’s true.) All the women in this campaign are holding signs with super cool fashion advice that shames bodies — think Hester Prynne, but with some non-thought about sparkly stuff.
Peep some of the photos below, and FYI: SmartGlamour is that size-inclusive brand that bangs out really brightly colorful custom things with a DIY vibe. We like that the brand shows looks in the same steeze at different sizes.
Has anyone ever told you something looked SO flattering on you because it magically made you look “different”? Are they still alive? Let us know.
