This would be my festive makeup look. Some fresh and subtle shimmery tones to compliment those bright–and wonderfully crass–cheesy holiday jumpers. I love how Jessica Alba keeps her skin looking clean and glowing, with a sweep of mascara and a dab of blush tint on the lips.

Alba has used a black mascara to draw attention and lengthen her lashes. I am loving this new NARS mascara to separate and define your lashes. Remember to get a fresh tube at least every six months before the formula dries up and the application starts to get little clumpy.

This is a life-saver to throw in your handbag as it’s a two in one for your lips and cheeks. I love that it’s a creamy texture, and it keeps your skin looking fresh instead of caked by powder.

Givenchy teint Couture Long-Wearing Fluid Foundation, $50
A good foundation is so important for the base of your makeup, and a good quality one like this lasts a long time. It glides on beautifully and will stay all day. Well worth the investment.
