You might think that someone with as much wealth as a Kardashian would spare the extra change to have Barney’s wrap up whatever diamond or gold-encrusted things she’s gifting friends and family for the holidays. But let it be known that any million dollar necklace you might receive from Kim or mama Kris this holiday season was personally wrapped by the duo. On Kim’s website, she gave us access to her holiday shopping tips (gift cards are A-okay after all.) For her number five tip, she said:

My mom and I are big into wrapping gifts! You don’t need to spend the extra money having someone wrap it! if you’re not a good wrapper, it’s OK! It’s the thought that counts! Also try to use recycled wrapping paper.”
