We were having a severe case of the Mondays until we saw that Eloquii was offering up a sneak peek of their new A La Mod collection today featuring none other than mayor of Babetown Candice Huffine. As usual, Candice did nothing but inspire us to live our best and most fashionable lives. And we’re pleased to report that the black and white clothes she’s repping are mostly non-boring threads you’d want to wear to a place where they I.D., though, like most fashion collections, there were a few eyesores we could have lived without. Check out our full review of the nine looks below.
Forget what you’ve ever heard from your mom about stripes being unflattering. This little stripey number is redefining the stripe game, and we especially think it looks good with these over-the-knee boots. Drawback: there’s a strong possibility there will be Beetlejuice and/or jail cell references when you walk down the street in this one.
It’s hard to go wrong with this dress. It’s sexy but you won’t feel weird about wearing it to the office. It’s simple but not making us fall asleep on our keyboards.
The minimal top mixed with the loud print of the skirt is working for us here. Paired with the ankle boots, this look is good enough to get you some smiles from creepy older dudes.
Okay, we’re not sure about this one. The black sparkle design is painful to look at. We’re getting weird Sephora logo vibes. Can we rip off the glitter fabric to reveal a much more fun white dress below? Cool boots, though.
As much as Candice is pulling this black and white Pacman print off, we’re just not into it.
Now this we can get down with. It’s sexy, comfortable, and has cool cut-outs in all the hot spots. It’s making us want to hop in the back of a limousine with Candice and pop champagne out of the sunroof or something.
This pink collared tunic is the perfect addition to what would otherwise be a drab top your grandma would love to see you in at church. The sequined pencil skirt is festive and communicates that you’re someone who mixes business and pleasure.
This one looks like it should be waving in the air at a NASCAR race, though Candice makes it look totally normal. We’re more interested in those hot red shoes, to be honest.
Finally, this. It’s hard to mess up a classic, and we could totally see ourselves dancing under the disco ball on New Years Eve in this one.
