In the week before Thanksgiving, we’ve been practicing the fine art of gratitude. And today we’re especially thankful that Lena Dunham, who isn’t one to usually shy away from showing the world her goods, decided to gift us yet another taste of her midriff in The New York Times Magazine’s “The Women of Hollywood Speak Out” feature.
From the online article, it appears Dunham was just one of two actresses who chose to wear a crop top out of the 63 featured leading ladies (Lake Bell was the other.) For such a powerful feature on sexism in Hollywood, we’re here for this. After Harper’s Bazaar‘s photo of Dunham covering her stomach in a nude photoshoot, it’s awesome to see her proudly displaying her stomach this time with one arm at her side and the other gently sloped over her head like a confused woman in yoga class.
Lena Dunham, relatable Brooklynite and mostly reasonable voice of our generation, shutting down fashion ‘guidelines’ one turtleneck at a time.
