The good news? H&M cast Ashley Graham as the face of their new H&M studio collection line, that features all the hottest trends H&M promotes every season. It’s set at a higher price point, and it’s the one show that H&M does at Paris Fashion Week. The not so good news? The collection will be sold in stores, but curve sizes will only be sold online.
Obviously, we’re happy for Queen Ashley, but it shows that brands aren’t being super considerate. If H&M knew anything about shopping while curve, or even bothered to ask Ashley herself, I’m pretty sure she would say the one thing that annoys curve women more than anything is feeling forced into buying things online that don’t fit in real life. Every woman hates that, but fewer curve sizes are carried in stores, so we often wind up with clothes that don’t fit, even if you buy your typical size.
But the photos look gorgeous and Ashley’s the face of a brand that’s not curve oriented, so slight win right?!
