Genesis Davila is a Puerto Rican-American model. She won the title of Miss Florida USA 2017, but her crown was taken away shortly after.

Davila lost her title because she violated the competition rules by hiring a professional hair stylist and makeup artist.

Although the makeup artist could have been doing her makeup for something else besides the Miss Florida competition, a source from this article said other contestants complained about Davila breaking the rules.

Makeup artists are talented, however, it’s absolutely unfair for a beauty pageant contestant to hire a professional hair stylist or makeup artist when it’s against the rules.

Did Davila deserve to lose her crown? I think anyone who violates rules should be eliminated from a competition. That’s only fair.

I’m sure Davila can do her own hair and makeup and have it look beautiful. All the other girls in the competition have to do their own hair and makeup and they look great.
