According to that same article, this was because the jurors couldn’t go on with the trial looking at the defendant’s tattoos.
The defendant’s tattoos have an impact on how people perceive him, which can be an issue when he’s in front of a jury.
I’m not sure what the makeup artist used to cover up the defendant’s tattoos, but according to the article, some of it rubbed off and he had to have touch-ups.
Perhaps this is a great way for that makeup artist to figure out the best type of makeup to use to cover tattoos for a long period of time. Or find the best setting powder or spray out there.
