Contouring is certainly not a new trick. Models, celebrities, everyday non-Kim K people have been doing it forever. Even stage actors have used the makeup trick of highlights and shadows to change their face into a variety of characters for years. The tutorials range from novice to extreme professional in technique, and show that any part of the body can be contoured. Australian beauty vlogger, Chloe Morello, thinking that the trend has hit it’s ultimate ridiculousness, created a satirical video contouring her entire body.

In a process that took two hours, the five-minute video shows Morello getting the full contour treatment by two makeup artists and with what she jokingly claims is $5,000 worth of makeup.

Although, the video is cheeky (no pun intended) and honestly quite memorizing, we have to remember not to shame people who choose how they wear their makeup. To some, the contour trend is hella extreme, but to others it is a means of self-expression and celebration of skill.

The only reason not to contour the entirety of your body would be for practical reasons, like sweat, and you know, you look great natural.
