Earlier in the week we watched a a butt contouring tutorial (LOL.) The butt trend. It lives on forever.

Today Elle did their usual article on how to get ready for summer. On the whole, it’s getting us excited to be beach baes again. But there was this one little snippet we think fashion media needs to go beyond. It was about how to fake a bigger butt.

Makeup artists Carolina Gonzalez and Colleen Creighton who work on the Victoria’s Secret swim catalog said, “many of the models love making their bottoms look bigger, so I use Charlotte Tilbury Slimmer Shimmer on parts I want to stand out.”

We’ll always stick up for a woman’s right to change her appearance any way she sees fit. In addition to talking about “fake it” tricks, how about adding more women in the mix of all sizes? Like talking to women with naturally larger behinds and also, women with smaller booties about why they love their natural look? When you’re telling women how to look good in the summer, people of all sizes should be invited to the beach bae parade.
