Last Miami Swim Week, we reported on how there was size diversity lite it was, and this tentative tidbit from Fashionista has us hoping things might improve.
Sure, you don’t really look to Miami Swim Week or Miami in general for the cutting edge-iest things in fashion — culturally, it’s a lot more about how bods look in bikinis than the actual design of swimwear than anything. But here’s why we care. Fashionista reports that IMG and Swim Week could be BACK ON. So? Because then there’s a chance that Candice Huffine, recent IMG addition would be in the spotlight in swimmables if life is fair.
IMG didn’t comment on the record BUT CeCe Feinber, owner of Feinberg PR has confirmed with Fashionista that the companies that support IMG are in the mix with a very strong luxe presence for 2016. We’d kill to see more body types, AND Candice Huffine scorching the earth as she makes her turn in a teeny bikini. The affair might actually include clothes too. WHO CARES WE WANT CANDICE IF WE’RE JUMPING THE GUN IT’S BECAUSE WE WANT CANDICE (and as many more bodies as is possible, because you know Huffine rolls deep with a supportive girl gang and always says “we” in interviews.)
Candice? Will she be there? Praying to Stevie Nicks it is so. Start the rumor mills milling.
