Once Again Target Made a Clothing Collaboration Available to Curvy Women Online-Only

Call your grandma because the popular celebrity fashion site Who What Wear is bringing us some cool clothes for curvy chicks. Your first thought might be “WHO, WHAT, WHERE CAN I GET THESE?” The answer: Target. Oh wait, excuse me… THE TARGET WEBSITE.

That’s right, certain pieces from the Who What Wear x Target collection will be offered in sizes 2-26 (because why would the entire thing be offered in larger sizes?), Bustle reports, but what they are calling the “plus sizes” will be available online only. (No word on where the fun dividing line for “plus size” begins, though Fashionista stated Target’s previous collaboration with Joseph Altuzarra in 2014 only ran up to a size 16.) This online-only nonsense might be a flash of deja vu if you wanted to buy something hideous to wear to a Charleston tennis match from Target’s collection with Lilly Pulitzer last year.

So, great. If you want in on this hot collaboration, which boasts fun stuff like army green duster vests, chambray dresses, and culottes (all things we’d be pleased to hang in our closets), well, you’ll have to go through the extra hassle. You know the deal. You buy it online, pray it fits, resist the urge to burn the garment up in flames when it doesn’t, and then the cycle repeats itself. The ladies behind Who What Wear told Elle that there will also be exclusive items for curvy women only but, again, you won’t see those pieces when you make your weekly Target run for cute bath products you know you don’t need.

God forbid they make a little extra space in the already overly spacious megastore chain to make life a little bit easier for curvy chicks, but that would still just be too much to ask, we suppose. They did at least make the effort to feature some curvy models in their lookbook for this collection, so there’s that, but come on. If you really want to be inclusive, Target, include the full range of sizes IN THE STORE instead of sending the message that the majority of women aren’t worth the rack space.

If you want some of these cool looks below–which are available January 31– make sure your laptop battery is charged or whatever.

Looking casually put together in chambray.

Walking into Target like WHADDUP thanks for nothing.

"I like this vest. Too bad I had to send it back three times before I found the right size."

“I like my new vest. Too bad I had to send it back three times before I found the right size.”

"Oh, that's cool. I didn't want to step foot in your establishment anyway."

“Oh, that’s cool. I didn’t want to step foot in your establishment anyway.”
