Adele bodied Nicki Minaj’s verse from “Monster” in the car last night on Carpool With James Corden, and Nicki Minaj loved it.
And today, Nicki posted the video, saying “Pull thru, QUEEN!!!!!” She noted that Adele had the appropriate moves and sass to match the power of her own words with a swift “the attitude & fingers to match. I cried when she waved bye to the careers.” We had no idea Adele had it in her. Thank you both for singing songs about dark emotions and truffle butter.
If two of your favorite curvier celebrities did a mashup, heads would explode. We think the theme should be about female solidarity and dismissive waves.
